Halo Bioventures principals were approached by leadership at a large academic health system interested in building a new series of research programs. Programs included precision medicine, pharmacology, metabolomics, immunology, among other areas.

We explained our process, and agreed to get to work. Within the first three months, we identified five leading candidates for the most senior position. Each of the two finalist candidates out of this group had at least two R01 grants and over $3 million in sponsored research funding that they would bring with them. Additionally, several other leading candidates were identified for the deputy and associate positions.

An offer was made and accepted, and programs are growing quickly.
