Halo Bioventures principals worked a regional angel family office interested in honoring the memory of a loved one who died of cancer. The philanthropic organization expressed interest in sponsoring clinical research desired to find a cure. The organization was not familiar with processes related to research, so we helped coach them on peer-reviewed research and FDA sponsored trials.

We worked with principals at the angel organization to launch a request for proposals directly tied to the interest area. The RFP was launched, and there were fifty applicants from across the U.S. and even a couple international applications. Of these, five were invited to visit with the family as finalists. The angel selected two winning teams out of the group. Research has started and has already delivered some promising results.
